Cognitive Behavioral CBT
  • Purpose: CBT aims to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviors. It helps individuals develop coping strategies for managing various mental health issues.
  • Used for: Depression, anxiety disorders, phobias, PTSD, OCD, eating disorders, anger issues.

  • Purpose: Psychodynamic therapy explores unconscious thoughts and feelings, often rooted in past experiences, to gain insight into current behaviors and emotions.
  • Used for: Various mental health disorders, relationship issues, unresolved childhood traumas.


  • Purpose: Person-Centered Supportive Therapy focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where clients can explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences without judgment.
  • Used for: Beneficial for anxiety, depression, grief, and self-esteem issues. It is particularly helpful when the client needs a non-directive, empathetic space to express themselves.
  • Purpose: MI is a collaborative, goal-oriented method of communication designed to strengthen a person's motivation for change. MI aims to help individuals resolve their ambivalence and find intrinsic motivation to make positive behavioral changes.
  • Used for: MI is commonly used in addiction treatment, addressing substance abuse and alcoholism.

Solution Focused Brief SFBT
  • Purpose: (SFBT) helps individuals identify and work toward achievable solutions to their problems, rather than focusing extensively on the problems themselves. It emphasizes exploring existing strengths, resources, and successes to empower clients to envision a positive future.
  • Used for: SFBT is used for anxiety, depression, relationship problems, and stress-related disorders.
